Challenge Sandefjord is a middle-distance race on Norway's Oslofjord coast. Cold fjord swimming and relentlessly rolling Nordic terrain make it a strength-oriented course in beautiful scenery.
1.9 km swim in the sheltered Sandefjord fjord - cold, clear salt water typically 15-18°C, always wetsuit-legal.
90 km rolling ride through Vestfold's farmland and forest roads; constant undulation with no long climbs but very little flat.
21.1 km undulating run on coastal paths and through the town centre of Sandefjord.
Actual monthly averages from the last 3 years (Open-Meteo). Real race day may vary.
Water temp uses athlete-reported values first, then official race data, then the marine archive (sea swims, measured at the nearest offshore point). Values tagged est. are modelled from recent air temperature for lakes and rivers, where no observational data exists.
