Challenge Québec is a middle-distance race in the heart of UNESCO-listed Québec City, with a sheltered Old Port swim, rolling closed-road bike and a run through the historic Old Town.
1.9 km swim in the sheltered Bassin Louise in Québec City's Old Port - flat, protected water with the Old Town as a backdrop.
90 km rolling ride out of the Old Port along the St Lawrence and onto the closed Autoroute; several sharp ramps out of the lower town plus fast highway sections.
21.1 km run through Old Québec and along the Promenade Samuel-De Champlain, including short but steep climbs up to the Upper Town.
Actual monthly averages from the last 3 years (Open-Meteo). Real race day may vary.
Water temp uses athlete-reported values first, then official race data, then the marine archive (sea swims, measured at the nearest offshore point). Values tagged est. are modelled from recent air temperature for lakes and rivers, where no observational data exists.
