Challenge Barcelona is one of Europe's fastest middle-distance races. Closed motorway riding and a flat seafront run on the Catalan coast make it a favourite for late-season PB attempts.
1.9 km Mediterranean swim off the Maresme coast north of Barcelona; sandy beach start, water around 21-23°C, occasional swell.
90 km flat coastal ride on the closed C-32 motorway and the N-II seafront road - wide, smooth, extremely fast with only short rises.
21.1 km flat run on the seafront promenade with multiple laps and continuous spectator support.
Actual monthly averages from the last 3 years (Open-Meteo). Real race day may vary.
Water temp uses athlete-reported values first, then official race data, then the marine archive (sea swims, measured at the nearest offshore point). Values tagged est. are modelled from recent air temperature for lakes and rivers, where no observational data exists.
